Shaheed Smarak

Shaheed Smarak Chauri Chaura is situated very close to Chauri Chaura Railway Station. This pure marbal monument is built in memory of those freedom fighters prosecuted by the then British government.

Tarkulaha Devi Temple

Tarkulaha Devi Temple is a holy place of worship not only for local people but also for people from as far as Bihar, Bengal, MP and Rajasthan. The name Tarkulaha has been derrived from a local tree named Taad found in the area. This place is also associated with Amar Shaheed Bandhu Singh, famous for his role in 1st struggle for freedom in 1857. Every year, during Chatra Ramnavami, a great carnival takes place at Tarkulaha Devi.

Mahadeva Temple

This is a famous temple of Lord Shiva close to Chauri Chaura on Bramhapur road.
Dani Bhavani Pokhra
This great pond is situated on out skirt of Mundera Bazar town on road leading to village Baghade and Bhagavanapur.
Pokhra (Opposite GPS Inter College)
This very big Water Body is right in front of 2 local Schools, namely Ganga Prasad Smarak Inter College and Mahadev Prasad Inter College. Also situated on one corner is a small shaheed memorial and a temple. There are 4 Ghats for people to take bath and worship. Every year, the great Chhat Pooja is celebrated at the Pokhra and also there is a one day Carnival during Dussehra known as Pokhra Par Ka mela.

Moti Mandir

This is another temple located in the town. This temple runs a Goshala to take care of Cows (holy for Hindus)
Marwari Mandir
This temple is right on the road leading to Mundera Bazar from main Gorakhpur-Deoria Road. The temple was established by local Marwari community.
